Performance

The 2025 Expedition comes standard with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost® twin-turbocharged V6 engine producing a strong 400 horsepower. An even-higher-output version is available that boosts the production to 440 horsepower. All Expedition models employ an independent rear suspension. When it's properly equipped, the Expedition can tow up to 9,600 pounds, making it ideal for hauling boats or campers on trips to Scott, LA. The 10-speed automatic transmission ensures smooth, responsive shifts.

Technology

All Ford Expedition SUVs come with a large, 24.0-inch dashboard display that includes both a large digital gauge cluster and infotainment readout. A separate, smaller display is positioned closer to the driver and front-seat passenger,providing easy access to the infotainment interface. The available B&O sound system by Bang & Olufsen surrounds you in rich, rewarding audio. Meanwhile, the intuitive SYNC® infotainment system includes wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, over-the-air update capabilities, and the ability to watch movies the web when you're parked.

Trim Levels

The 2025 Ford Expedition comes in a number of well-equipped trim levels to suit each buyer's preferences. The entry-level XL provides basic creature comforts and solid performance, while the Active trim adds upscale touches like leather upholstery and heated front seats. Upgrade to the sporty Active trim for stylized exterior elements and an enhanced engine auto start-stop feature.

If off-road adventure is your priority, go with the rugged Tremor model with its electronic limited-slip differential, heavy-duty skid plates, and off-road suspension system. At the top of the range, the King Platinum trim pulls out all the stops with massaging front seats, a panoramic sunroof, adaptive suspension, and a 440-horsepower EcoBoost V6.
